Bleeding Vampire Bite cupcakes, courtesy of Baking Bites. I used buttercream rather than cooked frosting, seems like too much work and too much room for error. Also beware cherry pits! Next time I will strain the filling after puree-ing, to make sure none of those buggers get through. Unless you want a real trick-or-treat.
